Dd's 3 and bored rigid of her ducks, little plastic scoops, etc. etc. She's had the same bath toys since she was about 1.

What do your kids love to play with in the tub?

misdee · 25/11/2005 22:04

Blu · 25/11/2005 22:04

Boats, clockwork diver, and his 'dancing wee wee' - at 3, anyway!

moondog · 25/11/2005 22:05

flannels make lovely wigs

WigWamBam · 25/11/2005 22:06

Old washing powder scoops, plastic spoons (kitchen sized ones and medicine spoons), empty bottles, a piece cut from a swimming float and a decoy duck.

my dd has had a shower toy that attaches to the side of the bath. I got it last year from ELC, I assume they stilll do them.
She loves it to bits, was really hard for her to push it in at first but she is now 2 1/4 so it getting a bit easier for her to push the button in to pump the water through it.

hana · 25/11/2005 22:11

you can get foam numbers and letters from most places ( tescos, elc ) etc and I think boots had some dolls that had lots of different outfits too in their 3 for 2 offer on website

nooka · 25/11/2005 22:14

Anything they can get hold of before I say "Noooo"!

charlietherednosedpussy · 25/11/2005 22:15

A few different sized cups, an empty squeezy bottle and a few plastic animals and a flannel.

Feistybird · 25/11/2005 22:16

tho' if you're looking for some big colourful plastic thing for Xmas that will invade your bathroom, then some git bought DD1 a Barny house thing that sticks by suction to the side of the bath and has a waterwheel and lift thing and lots of other crap that seemed to entertain for some time.

collision · 25/11/2005 22:18

I think goggles are a great idea and I will get some for ds1.

Am also going to get some letters....must admit that it is a pain to get it all out before I get in the bath!

TC, I wish you were my mum

(Of course I am a bit old but YKWIM!)

gingerbear · 25/11/2005 22:23

TC, is there any room in the bath after that little collection?

lucycinco · 25/11/2005 22:23

DD (5) loves washing old teddies , dolls hair etc. She has been known to don goggles, flippers and snorkel.

gingerbear · 25/11/2005 22:23

I can echo TC on wind up swimming lobster, DD has loved hers since in-utreo

poppyseed · 25/11/2005 22:23

Tesco have some wind up toys for 99p at the moment....santa has them on his list for the stockings .
Otherwise we use tea sets and pour each other cups of bubble tea/lots of spoon and bubble stirring/foam letters that stick on the tiles/crab mirror from the ELC/ empty bottles that turn into squirters to get Daddy wet....the list is endless...........

lucycinco · 25/11/2005 22:24

She also loves bath crayons and those little submarines that fizz coloured water.

charlietherednosedpussy · 25/11/2005 22:25

Oh bath bombs too amuse my kids. 3 for 99p from chemists. Take ages to desolve.

collision · 25/11/2005 22:26

Goodness TC...can she get in the bath as well?

Thanks everyone.

She's currently just got a set of ducks, some plastic scoops and spoons and old cups. Plus a watering can. She frequently takes a small soft toy with her who she washes and plays some kind of drowning game with.

I thought something else might be a nice Christmas treat. But I dunno. Maybe I'm more bored by bath games than she is!
