Keeping baby's feet warm - does any type of sock or 'bootie' stay on ?

I want something to put on dd's feet when we go out. I don't want a shoe or anything 'shaped' that might cramp her feet but everything else I've tried including all kinds of socks or loose booties just get pulled off or fall off within minutes.

She is 10 months and I don't want anything mega-girly.

Any ideas ?

That's 'em, Jan, that's 'em!

Hmm - my dd2 can get Gap socks off, and Starchild shoes, and Daisy Roots. She's not quite 8mths yet but is the most determined child you've ever met! .

Agree Skyler that Gap socks aren't as good as they used to be - I seem to remember they were much more elascticated when dd1 was a baby.

I used tights under clothes - an that was with the boys too

i am putting tights of dd3 most days, even under trousers.

sassy, I have just bought the Tchibo lambskin ones as a stocking filler for my great-nephew - he will be 6 months in January!

sorry if this has been said but I haven't read the whole thread. I used to put a plain white babygrow on under pink dungarees.

Wow. This really took off didn't it. Not just my baba that can never keep her socks on then.

Thanks for all the ideas.
