Wilkinson's is FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Today, I bought ds the only toy pushchair I would ever consider buying him.

It is a basic, navy blue and white, reasonably realistic affair.

And the price?

£3.99!!!

He is having it for Christmas, he will love it so much!

I keep on asking MNers about this Shangri La of retail and noone ever answers.

My friend raves about it but I've never been.

It's a really cheap, sells a bit of everything, type of shop.

Depends on your idea of ooop north ... we have them in the Midlands, wonderful places.

No, down south too but not in tunbridge wells, ashford and chatham have one.

no we have them in the south and wales. I think it's fab as well.

Oh sorry, I wondered why you mentioned Chester, oops!

Toiletries, garden stuff, toys, stationery, kitchenware, clothes, pet food, electricals, books, craft supplies, cleaning things, plants, paint, wallpaper, DIY supplies, trampolines ... the list just goes on.

And they're dirt cheap too.

We are in East Midlands, we have a LOT of Wilkinson's shops around here.

great for toiletries, cookware, decorating stuff, pet food, stationary, sweets, toys, Christmas decorations, laundry hardware (ironing board etc), and cleaning stuff. Oh, and clothes and baby stuff in the bigger shops.

basically, between Morrison's, Wilkinson's and the greengrocer you can live extremely well on a budget!

(You're not that far from me then...be afraid...)

No Wilkies in North Wales as far as I'm aware but it's the one and only thing I miss about living in Chester. Fantastic shop - you can get everything there and it's so cheap.

i bought the best set of measuring cups at wilkos. it has cups, ml, and oz measurements.

Rural Lancs, North of Manchester - DH worked in Stockport until recently and his old car had a DE number plate so I feel connected!
