What do you think?

I love Tiffany's and love the whole being presented with the box thing - but - I think it is terribly over priced for what it is!

I think there are much better value places to buy jewellery from, particularly if its a 'big' piece

no no no no

blueteddy · 19/09/2005 22:23

Links of London have some really nice, unusual jewelery & they are quite a bit cheaper than Tiffs.

BosworthBear · 20/09/2005 04:36

Tiffany for me too! I also have the interlinking heart bracelet, DH bought it last Christmas and I would be very happy to receive another suprise like that this year!!!!!!

blueteddy · 20/09/2005 07:20

It's lovely isn't it Bosworthbear?
I would love another suprise like that too, but seen as we have just spent loads of money moving house, I don't think it's going to happen!

dropinthe · 20/09/2005 07:41

LOL Cod-went into the "under £60.00" part of that jewellers website and all you could get was gold fish tail bracelet charms!!

Davros · 20/09/2005 09:30

They used to do a china box and a glass box like their gift box iyswim, with ribbon round. Its was nice....
I like Links too, have got nice earrings from there and lovely picture frame.

Mojomummy · 20/09/2005 11:36

Yes & very expensive. My engagement ring is a copy of the Tiffany 'Lucida' ring. Hubby had it made in Antwerp for about a 1/3 of the price. Now on their website as Lucinda !

expatinscotland · 20/09/2005 11:54

I want one of those damn bracelets!

MascaraOHara · 20/09/2005 15:30

So where should I be looking at Diamond Rings if Tiffany's doesn't really float my boat?

There was a link posted once to a webpage with the most bautiful collection of rings on it

DP wouldn't stretch to 5 figures! but I'm hoping to find a style that I like and basically say, this is what I want ...in platinum... go seek!

www.asprey.com - DELICIOSO ! Flash plug in site so I can't link to it.

NomDePlume · 21/09/2005 14:13

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy Boodles have some gorgeous stuff. Shame I can't stretch to £2.5k for the 'Come Fly with Me' ring or indeed £7k for the platinum eternity ring. Bum

NomDePlume · 21/09/2005 14:14

Ohhh and the 'touch of colour one', too.

MascaraOHara · 21/09/2005 14:35

Just looked at Asprey - Quite like the 'A' collection. There was another I liked but it was £50k so a bit of out the question!
