Got a very nice husband now, but not a house in Maida Vale and a Tiffany rock
Mustn't complain, dh is making something that smells fab in teh kitchen and has poured me another glass of wine.
I'm also a sucker for a Tiffany box - got the colour matched to paint my old bathroom! And gave my stepdaughter a Tiffany necklace for her bridesmaid's present. Will buy her Tiffany earrings for Christmas as she's just had her ears pierced.

coldtea - thats just normal for silver, surely? I never buy silver jewelry for that reason, cant be bothered to polish it.

blueteddy · 19/09/2005 21:32

I have the linking hearts bracelet & necklace (both presents) & I love them!

coldtea · 19/09/2005 21:34

I don't know, other silver jewellery i have hasn't tarnished this quickly. I've tried cleaning it with proper cleaner but it's made it go black, to the point where i can't where it any more.

Thomcat · 19/09/2005 21:34

LOL at you Aloha, you're so lovely, 'oh, I do hope you can take it back', bless you! xx

Thomcat · 19/09/2005 21:35

None of mine has tarnished.

aloha · 19/09/2005 21:35

Lovely man he was, just not for me forever. I hope he's found someone nice. I still feel vaguely guilty about the ring, but sort of pleased it got offered once in my life!

blueteddy · 19/09/2005 21:36

I have had mine nearly a year now & it still looks good as new!

coldtea · 19/09/2005 21:39

It's my earrings that are the worst, probably where i have them on in the shower & they get wet. Still doesn't seem right though, i wear my cheapy ones in the shower & they don't go black?

Mines not the bracelet with the heart on, that everyone has.
The one I have is made up of silver hearts which link together & it has a single gold heart at the front.

Davros · 19/09/2005 21:48

Oh yes, its only Tiffany, NOT Tiffany's!!! and the ground floor is the only one to visit. My heart has diamonds in it, is that super chav??? They do some nice china and gifts but he silver floor is always heaving with geezers and tarts

No you didn't offend at all kama!
I know the heart ones you mean. I got a good fake one that I used to wear to work, a few years back.
It has now gone a funny shade of bronze though!

coldtea - are they sterling silver or britannia silver? does anyone know if britannia silver tarnishes more quickly?

Milge · 19/09/2005 22:18

I'm a sucker for little blue boxes too. DH made me cry last Christmas when i found a small blue bag hanging off the christmas tree, containing a single carat tiffany diamond for each of my ears. Now all he has to do is pay for the remortgage to the house!

expatinscotland · 19/09/2005 22:19

Aw, man! I like that heart toggle bracelet! I'd love to have one. If you think yours is too chav, I'd be happy to take it off you .
