Just curious as I was just watching a Netflix show and a man was about to put one his "one night stand" was like what you doing who even uses condoms ? I know I don't bother with them

With new partners it was always no glove no love. Until I have been with someone for few months and happy we are exclusive that is. No one likes them but they are there for a reason.

Suggest to those who do not like using them try the ones are either ribbed or ribs and dots.

I really don’t like them, but I accept they are a necessity, would never have risked it without one even when younger. I was abstinent for 8 years before I met DH, we’ve new been together for 12 years. We used them for around 2 weeks when I started on the pill to give it time to start working,
not touched one since then.

I've never done it without. Something to experience at least once hopefully (I have an IUD but been single for 3 years and in dead bedroom marriage prior).

I would never sleep with a new partner without one.

Even when on the pill, you still need to use one with a new partner. I'd never go on a date without having a couple on me, as I've learned that you can never trust the guy to have one. OK, going bare always feels better, but it just isn't worth the risk of catching a STI.

Hmm. I count myself very lucky to have got away with it in my younger years. Occasionally used them, usually got carried away and found the palava got me out of the groove. Past history of occasional one night stands and casual relationships. I don’t know how many men I have slept with, not 100’s but probably over 20. Was normally drunk as well. Used them as contraceptive with my ex for a while and now married and DH has had the snip. I’ve had STI checks and thankfully all clear due to pure luck. Some of my dicier life choices make sense now I have an ADHD diagnosis, due to impulsivity and low self esteem. It’s not something I’m proud of. Thankfully never going there again though.

I think you'd be taking a hell of a chance not using them if you're openly dating and/or trying out new partners. Just from an AIDS / STD standpoint. I'm very fortunate I'm with my wife and we're open to a second baby, so no protection of any kind for us. But yeah I used them when I was dating. Imagine what horrors you could pick up if you didn't? Not to mention some woman you slept with once, realised you didn't like that much and then she's like, I've got you on the line for 18 years. I'm pregnant sucker!

When I’m single and I don’t know my lover, I’ll begrudgingly use them. Other than that, I hate them. IMO sex improves by 30-40% without one, feeling every bump or curve on a penis is all part of it. Then there’s also the passion killer of putting the buggers on! But as said, a must for one nighters
