Sex toys for beginners - what do you recommend?

OH and I have been together for over 10 years and I finally am getting my libido back after having our child. We are thinking about trying some sex toys which neither of us have ever done before.

What do you more experienced mumsnetters recommend end? I don't really know where to start but what I am sure of is that neither of us want to try anal, so no anal toy recommendations required!

No I don't think we need them, our sex life is getting back on track anyway, but have both wondered if we might be missing out on something. So many people seem to use them that we thought we might give it a go. But at the same time I'm a bit nervous about it for some reason - probably because I know nothing about them.

A blindfold or sleeping mask, the one wearing it lies down, while the other kisses them from head to toe, then back up to thighs/belly, then oral. Then use your imagination from there.

A mini vibrator, use it on your clit during sex (let the tip touch his penis, he'll probably like it). It’s not either/or. Plenty of couples in loving relationships with good sex lives use toys to add a bit extra.

OP something like a bullet might be good or maybe a rabbit. I’ve ordered a wand but I gather it’s maybe not for beginners!
