Best condoms in your opinion and where to buy them so they dont cost £££

Ive come off the mini pill so we will be using condoms.
whenever I've seen them in boots they seem to be £££ for about 3 of them.

Which brands do you recommend?
Is own brand as good as the branded more expensive ones?

Should i buy online in bulk? I'm seriously hoping i get my sex drive back

I'm happy to buy from the high st or supermarkets.

Ooooh a spermicide debate

After years of trying different ones, DH (who is not exceptionally big) likes the Durex XL Comfort (blue box). They are quite baggy and he likes that - he does not like a tight fit feel that you get with most other types. I suspect that they might be more prone to leak because of the baggy fit - but we use them for hygiene (we have sex before I go to work and I don't like that damp feeling at work) - I don't need them for contraception purposes. The other one he likes are Durex Extra Safe - although quite thick, it feels OK for him (makes him last well too!).
On the spermicide debate, I used spermicide condoms for many years and never had any problems (never got pregnant either - even when one split once). I think the make you prone to STIs advice is relevant if you have a new or untrusted partner - but even then, more reason to not want to get pregers.
I'd also be careful buying on line condoms. There are some good fakes that look like the real thing but not good quality. I recommend buying from big well known stores who buy from the maker. I think Pasante make also sell direct to the public on line (they do a king size one too).
