Can we discuss the taste of spunk? I've never really had a bad experience giving bj's - until last night. I'm now with a new boyfriend & last night I gave him a great bj & took him all the way to the end & was happy to swallow - until I'd tasted it that is.. Oh my god it was RANK. It tasted like a fecking ashtray, really bitter and I was stuck with a mouthful of the stuff. My previous boyfriend had really sweet tasting spunk & I could merrily swallow any time with no disgust. I'm shocked at the difference. I'm feeling quite down about it because it will spoil my enjoyment on future occasions. Does anyone know, is it purely down to diet? I know boyfriend 2 doesn't eat as healthily as boyfriend 1 but he's not that bad. He doesn't smoke & only drinks very occasionally. I've told my dp similar. If he won't swallow it how can he expect me too?

I enjoy giving oral but I don't swallow or have it in my mouth at all. I can't stand the texture and the taste has never been much better on the occasions I have done it. It also makes me feel somewhat degraded, but that's how I feel and I'm not in any way saying that anyone else who chooses to swallow is degrading themselves.

I know my dp would like me to swallow but I can't bear it, even the thought makes me gaggy. There are things I would like him to do in the bedroom that he doesn't do because he doesn't enjoy it or it makes him uncomfortable and I respect that so we're pretty even.

I suspect most men will actually have done this at some point, though they may not be willing to admit it. Worth remembering though as this argument could backfire!

Taste can definitely vary depending on diet.

I can't speak for all men, but if you were planning to finish a blowjob with your hand I would ask you not to bother starting, stopping at the critical moment completely ruins it.
