My son has 8 science lessons a week as he has closed separate science lessons as his GCSE options. Had he picked double science and another GCSE he would have less science lessons. We are going to need more info to answer your question.

Like @titchy , I suspect that the OP is a disgruntled schoolgirl rather than an adult.
