Not sure if this thread has been started but if not, I would like to share experiences, tips and generally talk about schools and their pros and cons and processes to ease the anxiety and pain for us parents :)

This matches what my son said. There were 2 comprehensive questions and he said he spent too long on the first one so didn’t answer the second.

There were 16 children in his group taking the maths paper and he said no-one completed it. Apparently the boys were chatting at breaktime and he said most of the boys reached questions 17-20 out of 28.

@SkaterGrrrrl what do we think COP means here? 5pm ish? I asked a colleague as our hours are not ‘standard’ so COP to us is 23.59 😂

It was 3 pm (British time) last year. If invited for an interview (which is the second and final stage), the email will state type of interview (if it does not say anything, take it to be a general one) and date.

Thank you @QuiteAJourney - I’ll resist refreshing my emails until post 3pm then! I just want to know either way. (I’m not built for this 11+ process)… but keeping a very relaxed demeanour in front of DS as I know he’s tried his best. Thank you again!

Friendly heads up that there’s another Hampton exam this weekend for those who didn’t attend Sat so we might not want to discuss in too much detail (yet) on here.

I think they will send it last thing so angry/ disappointed parents can't ring the office and shout....give them overnight to digest the news!

Interesting many did not finish several questions. I wonder if that is expected, and the last few questions are for scholarship dc.

Last year we found some emails got sent out different times. One school sent an email to my DH hours before they sent one to me! Luckily he was able to tell me right away, or I would have been left waiting for hours wondering as others received their results already.

Just discovered this thread. My DD is sitting for the London consortium exam next week and wondered if anyone with experience in recent years can help with advice regarding Atom mocks. Is it best to stick to Atom assessment mocks or should practice on Atom ISEB mocks be used as well? This week we frustratingly noticed quite a few repetitive questions on Atom assessment mocks and slightly concerned it is not providing a good indication of ability. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Think Atom assessment mock and Atom ISEB mock are very similar anyway. Can try both if you have time.

What is the difference between an English interview and a general interview?

Also has anyone been invited to the scholarship assessment on Wed 6th Dec?
