I really need some honest feedback please
my 15 ye old daughter has been suffering abuse from boys recently with one calling a whore during class this wee.
I complained and then found the next day one of her teachers who found out she had ended a relationship with her boyfriend called her a floozy.
my daughter is now upset that people are calling her a slut that she thinks she is doing something to deserve it.
I reported it to the school but they do not seem interested o think it’s a problem that a teacher would say that to her.
what should I do?

I have no words, that is all so completely shocking and a total disgrace.

I’m so sorry for what your daughter has (and continues to) gone through and you and your family also.

@Dougalwougal I am so sorry: that's absolutely shocking.

Absolutely horrendous treatment but not particularly surprising.
What next ? are you keeping your daughter there to finish GCSEs?
There are early college transfers available or school could provide her work to do at home and sit the exams? But what about A levels.

Thanks for your message and support
She is a bit behind with her GCSEs but working really hard. She has already done some art and DT which will count for her final marks so at the moment she is still at the school..only to try and minimise disruption, but looking at options .
I had no idea there was early transfers to college so thanks for that...I will be calling some colleges tomorrow.
Yes hopefully she wants to do A levels, but it will absolutely not be at her current school. I am literally counting down the days!

Thankyou so much
I cling on to the fact that the County safeguarding said he believed the teacher said it, as it helped DD felt believed, but it's a bit hollow in that there has been no apology from the school, no accountability and no learning for how misogyny is to be dealt with at the school to prevent it happening to someone else

I think you have both done so well carrying on and standing up against this. I hope your daughter can do her very best with her GCSEs. Keep going.

Thankyou, hopefully no one else will go through what we have.
