Hello, I know there’s an excellent thread for the girls. Not sure if there’s one for the boys? Anyone want to come on board? I know we can’t divulge details of round two grammars since there will be late sitters, but was thinking more of a support thread. Any takers?

Well that was a shock - an email from KGS while I was trying to distract myself from waiting for the post. A good news email - much excitement here as it's first choice!

Been lurking on here for a while...has anyone heard anything from Dulwich yet (11+)? Also, does anyone know the range of academic scholarships available at Dulwich and Trinity? I remember seeing a list of lots of schools and their % ranges?

On the girls side people have received their offers already from city so hopefully boys will be in soon.

We got Hampton yesterday and KCS today. It was the last thing on my mind this morning so a lovely surprise when the email popped up.

Just wondering if anyone has heard from Alleyns??

DS got an offer from LU! Such a relief, I would have felt dreadful putting him through the process if he'd got nothing, and he didn't even get an interview at CLS.

Congratulations to everyone with offers and WL. DS got Hampton, KGS and Kings. We will release all our offers but will take some time to agonise over Kings vs Hampton!

@circuspicadilly in previously years the "Nos" have gone out before the offers & waitlisting.
The schools wouldn't be fair to wait list everyone if they didn't meet the pass marks/interview. Try to take WL as a positive...

iffiyas that’s going to be one dilemma too, although we are sitting St Paul’s too.

DS prefers Hampton simply because someone told him they can do two terms of football and avoid rugby! I’ve heard it said on here that KCS isn’t strong in football, which would be a concern as DS is very keen.

Not sure it’s the right criteria for judging a school however...

Sorry iffiyas I meant that’s going to be “our” dilemma too.
