Does your Y7 change into home clothes after school?

Probably a daft thing to be asking, again, but since starting in Y7 my daughter refuses to get changed after school; even if we go swimming later on she'll go in it and get changed back into it all afterwards, which I just worry is a bit odd and must also be both uncomfortable. What do others' children do?

..tbf mine don't often complain - just usually when they are feeling lazy so I don't think they actually have an issue with changing per se, just that they can't be bothered at that particular moment. Mostly they do it automatically as soon as they get in. No2 son as he wants to get straight out on his bike and he knows he'll rip his trousers (feck knows how he does it!) and No1 son as he is in High school now so has his Blazer, shirt and tie on so wants to get it off.

lol married I guess it would depend on the nightie Wink

DS is too lazy to change generally but will remove blazer and tie. I would prefer him to change but not enough to argue.

He gets a clean shirt each day anyway. Trousers generally last two days. Jumper washed once a week or so.

If he changed it would be shorts and tshirt or football jersey which he could wear for a couple of evenings.

DH and I always changed into more comfy clothes but would wear them fo a couple of evenings so washing levels the same really.

My DS (Y7) gets changed into PJs when he gets home, unless we're going somewhere.

At primary school, he'd get changed in PJs at dinner time.

Tbh, DS would stay in shirt and trousers for most of the evening. Blazer and tie come off as soon as through the door!

Pyjamas would be fine if that's what she's like to do, providing she wasn't expecting to go out with her friends wearing them of course..........!

married - does your DD stay in full uniform if she's slobbing around in it all evening, or does she at least take off/loosen her tie or whatever?
