Offers Day 1st March 2012

Anyone else feeling like we do about the impending Offers Day?

Not at all a foregone conclusion that DS will get into any of first five choices (all selective, two 11+ passes, one 11+ result due this coming week) so rather up in the air.... Sixth choice is okayish but DS has talked it down to the point that he is now desperately hoping it's not his one and only choice! Otherwise DS is being quite mature about considering that he could end up at any of the schools and is already thinking about which friends from primary school he is likely to stay in touch with etc.....

It all feels a bit as if life is on hold till 1st March.....

ooooooooooooweeeeeee....we got what DS wanted, chuffed to bits

We're in London- just got offered our first choice!!!!

Now off to parents evening.

In LB Richmond here. Checked online bang on 5pm and result was there! Yay! First choice!!

We're in London, we got our 5th choice.
My son is gutted as he wanted the WLFS.

I got on to the e admissions website at 5.02, approx - our first preference offered and accepted!

oh nice one sewapp..know lots at WS who love it. We had it as 3rd choice. DS wanted Bishops, my old school and he's got it, tried for latymer but just missed out on second round.

Got mine about 30 mins ago (Kent). DD got into the 2nd choice school. It's the one she wanted, so she'll be pleased. I'd have liked her to have gone to the 1st choice, but I don't mind really. I'm just glad it's all over!

Yippppe! DD has been offered a place at Wallington Girls (Grammar) - I m so pleased!!!

We started it all very late - so totally unexpected!

I will be celebrating tonight!

Didn't wait for the email - logged on . Got 2nd preference - which is fine , will just go on waiting list for no 1.

6th choice in London - bit confused just now - am I relieved that DS got one of the 6 choices? or am I upset that DS didn't get in at any of the first 5 choices?
I think it just needs to sink in just now.

I've got friends who went to BS...and their kids....they've all enjoyed it there!! Well done...

And fingers crossed for everyone else...x

email arrived as well
Got 2nd choice but we struggled to choose between 1 and 2 so v pleased with result.
Fingers crossed for all those still waiting....

Very proud of DS2 as he got a place at Wilsons. He's actually going private as this suits his personality better but I am still immensely pleased with his performance :).

As the email didn't arrive I logged on to the website and we found out from there. DS got a grammar school but third choice but still happy :-)
