I am in Dundee and say baffies. I have a Fife mum and a dundonian dad, but I grew up on the edge of Fife that is practically in Dundee. I also call my worktop the bunker. Gee'z a skiffy when playing eye spy. Calling a drain a cundie. We have circles, not roundabouts. Asking someone to hud on a minute always gets a good response Grin

ALL OF THIS!
I’ve moved to forfar now but they will forever be circles ❤️

We called slippers carpets, roundabouts are roundabouts and the worktop is the worktop .

Telling somebody to "Hing in" when you want them to hurry up, "Hud on" when you want them to wait.

I was talking to OH (Glasgow/Inverness) this morning about the never ending movement of football managers and I said "I can never mine fa's far" to which he replied "Can you not speak properly"

I'm from Angus. If your Mum had given you a row you'd say "my Mum gave me into trouble".
