Second jabs for teenagers?

Sorry to bring Covid into this but I am confused!

I know the UK government have said 12-17 can now have their second jabs. But what is growing on in Scotland? Can I just book them in online? How long does it need to be after the first one?

We're going to the drop in @Gottasinggottadance - NHS Lothian have started sending out letters for the 12-15 saying get along to the drop in centres.

There's stuff on twitter today from Humza Yousaf and various health boards to say 12-15s can now attend drop in clinics for their second dose, and if they've already got it booked for later in the month can bring it forward (as long as past 12 weeks from the first dose)

Thanks. NHS Lothian haven't tweeted about it but think we will try a drop in tomorrow or Tuesday and hope they will allow it.

I’m going to take my son to a drop in and hope they do his second jag. Would like it done before school restarts this week.

Does anyone have any information on drop in centres in the north of Glasgow? The website shows only one location in Glasgow each day. Is that right? Would be discouraged by very long queues given we were told to have 12-15 year olds jagged by Wednesday!

Any info on other locations gratefully received!

The drop in clinics in my area are available within the hours the kids are already back at school and in lessons. Not like they've missed enough school time as it is.
