How to prove I've had my double vaccine?

I have now, as of Friday, had both my shots of Ox/AZ vaccine.
Very grateful.
With my 1st (6th Mar) I got a leaflet with batch number written in biro.
With my 2nd, no batch number was given.
I asked if I got some sort of card to put in wallet / could download on an App but was told 'your GP has the record so you can get a letter though they might charge or call them for an appointment to go in and take a pic of it if you really want'.
This seems a bit daft. Surely the GP practices don't want lots of folk calling in?
I want to travel to see family as soon as I am allowed and will need to stay in a hotel. It seems sensible to be able to show I am 2 x jabbed?

I just came in to put up a link, but see the Scottish MNtters are on it!

I have found my registration after following a couple of links and messing with my name formatting. (hyphen, no spaces for any other double barrelled folks!)

Got my second dose due on friday so will check and download once I am official!

Apologies if it's already been posted and/or isn't what some people are looking for, but for those who have had a jab but didn't get a letter with a user name to let them log into the vaccination centre, I used this form today to recover my user name. I could then register on the vaccination website and could see all the details about my first jab. I never got a blue letter and only found put about my appointment by calling the helpline. https://vacs.nhs.scot/csp?id=recover_username

Thank you- your posts have been very helpful.

@MissBarbary I can assure you that covid vaccines are recorded using the national Turas vaccination management tool that uses patients CHI numbers. I’ve no idea what mine is, up here it’s phone calls not letters, no one has to give it when they get to the clinic but behind the scenes that’s what your appointment is linked to and that’s what the iPad links too. Ultimately the records will then, using your CHI number, link to the normal gp record management system (my brain has forgotten the name). Your address, gp etc all change throughout your life but you CHI stays the same unless you change gender.

God knows where the nhs is meant to get the staff to provide the certificates. At this rate we’ll be paying the covid bill for the next 50years.

No idea, I'm kind of pissed off at Scotland's approach to this. Have also had 2 jabs.

Dp is nhs worker and received his vaccines through occupational health, no blue letter. The 'recover your account' link can't find him 😤. Very frustrating.
