Travelling to Glasgow Uni?

DD and I are heading over to Glasgow Uni from the East coast on Saturday. I keep being told the parking is awful, but I’m very nervous about getting the underground etc, having never been on it before. I had planned to bus it over but apparently it’s too far from the bus station to walk?

What would you think is best? Bus/train/drive, Glaswegian folks?

Just seen the bagpiper and the drums and guitars in the cloisters on the UoG FB. Defo missed out yesterday. #TeamUofG

I heard all that howabout but it was pishing and we were running in a break in proceedings to get food so we just ran on by.

I was sitting at home watching it pishing which was the only thing stopping me getting on the bus and dragging a random stroppy teenager with me . Just reading the comments on gigs on the other thread. Glasgow (city as well as Uni) very very hard to beat on that front.

Couldn’t agree more, How. The gig-goers in Aberdeen aren’t as much fun as the Glasgow crowd either.
