here

It's not being reported who is behind it but it certainly looks the same as some of the incidents during the Indy campaign.

Whoever/whatever, it's ridiculous to behave like that IMO.

Should be ignored and should be stamped on by the party leaders - zero tolerance on social media or amongst their own party stalwarts.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 04/05/2015 20:29

Agreed. But what more can Sturgeon do? She says she condemns it which is more than the unionists do...

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 04/05/2015 20:30

Where are the unionist/non-SNP activists boasting about 'hunting down' SNP MSPs who are out on the campaign trail? Where are the Labour/Tory/Lib Dem/whatever candidates saying that a major SNP figure is 'fair game for community justice'?

HirplesWithHaggis · 04/05/2015 20:31

Politician finds satirical website funny. Shock

SirChenjin · 04/05/2015 20:31

Hit return too soon there...is it me though, or has the vitriol, bickering and bile got worse over the last few years? I've lived through far too many elections (of all kinds) to remember - I know we're constantly being told that more people are engaged in politics, but it seems to be an opportunity for really aggressive behaviour

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 04/05/2015 20:33

Politician thinks it is funny to call 'No' voters Quislings. Hmm

Viviennemary · 04/05/2015 20:38

I've not really seen any reports. But it does seem to be an awful fuss and stirring up over not very much. Sorry if I'm wrong. I don't mean the issues aren't important they are. But riot. hardly.

HirplesWithHaggis · 04/05/2015 20:39

He didn't. BBCScotlandshire did. What's Kezia doing about Labour party activist Ian Smart?

We can chuck names back and forth all night, it's not going to change anything.

I'm not seeing any if them speaking out about all the abuse from the unionists either...

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 04/05/2015 21:13

If he was retweeting it because he was condemning it, he would have said so, imo. Just retweeting it suggests very strongly to me that he found it funny that 'No' voters were called Quislings.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 04/05/2015 21:14

Hiding this now - driven off.

SirChenjin · 04/05/2015 21:57

Hirples - the name chucking is the least of it. Divisions in this country are so deep and bitter now - nothing is going to change for a long time, if ever. It's exhausting. My Dad (a Yes voter, strangely enough given our family!) has now had enough and is moving abroad. He said that he doesn't want to live the rest of his years in a country that is so divided, and I dont blame him one bit Sad

howabout · 05/05/2015 11:03

Not that interested in engaging in a debate on name calling but I just wanted to correct an inaccuracy in THAT FB photo being circulated by the SNP supporter. He comments Ed Izzard not Milliband etc. In fact Ed Milliband was in Glasgow last Friday. I looked in vain for any TV coverage of this. There are pictures of him and JM at the Glasgow rally in the Guardian though!

browneyedgirl86 · 07/05/2015 21:37

I think the behaviour of the activists is very poor and also bring shame to Scotland, can't say I'm surprised by the behaviour of one of them though.
