Close to sea and countryside?

Just looking for examples of places to live, anywhere in UK, that have a nice beach or seaside town but also close to the countryside . . . that are on the less expensive side yet still pleasant places to live?

Northumberland or County Durham.

The coast line of Great Britain (so excluding N Ireland) is 31,368km, Scotland is 11,800km alone!

I think you need to choose an area first, and then start looking.

For countryside and sea you need East Anglia

Dorset has some nice places but must be many lovely places all over the uk
Do you need to be close distance to family or with a certain driver etc as that would narrow it down

West coast of Scotland imo is by far the most beautiful. We moved to N Wales so we’re still close to family. Barmouth, Tywyn or Aberdyfi have coast, mountains and beautiful countryside. Not overcrowded. But not easy to access other parts of the country. Sometimes, towns a bit inland are more attractive than coastal towns but still easy access to the beach. Villages near Morecambe are nice-Hest Bank for example. You’re near the Lakes.

I second this

Pretty much any coastal part of Wales.

you just have more criteria?

Market Rasen and Louth, Lincolnshire. A bit out of the way if you need to be travelling outside Lincolnshire.
But otherwise, close to the coast and right on the doorstep of An outstanding area of natural beauty.

Chunks of Suffolk and of Norfolk that would be very doable but you'd need to visit to get a feel for them as it would be a balancing act between affordability and amenities. Some rural areas around here are incredibly wealthy and some are poverty-stricken with others sitting in between.
