Do swingers still exist, ie outside 1970s French films that is..

I just saw the Paddys Day Simpsons, where the new Simpson hot tub attracted dodgy swingers - Mrs Crabopolis and the fat Dr making an appearance. Do swingers actually exist tho? Like, really, who actually shares their partners? I've not met ANY couples I'd like to swop with, though maybe I am picky, and actually, swinging is a really interesting and active social scene.

Well that man's butt isn't anything to rave about is it?

SexyDomesticatedDad · 20/03/2009 17:32

There's an article on 'posh' swinging in last Sundays Times magazine - may even be on line now too. This one was set up by a woman though and aimed more at women who were able to make their own choices - still ended up with loads of shagging tho' according to the writer.

Bumblelion - one couple in the front- one in the back? No wondre the bloke got the wrong idea.

Aparently there is a special dogging website where you can find out the dogging hotspots. Aparently some woods near me are mentioned. I'm now not too keen to take DC's there in the day, but this infant school still take them there on trips.

I've named changed for this but I've been to a swingers club quite a few times, there's a massive scene going on,probably near you.

Some fantastic sites to meet people on.

Obviously you need to have the right mind set and right partner to get into it but if you do and it's your 'thing' it's great fun and brilliant escapism from real life!

Bugger I can't view that Radlett link cos I'm at work and it's filtered. I bet I know the house you mean though, I used to live in St Albans

My ex is into swinging but more on the Fetish side. It is all very civilized nowadays

I may (ok I have revealed this on MN before)have played with him and his wife/ friends on a few occasions

paolosgirl · 22/03/2009 19:33

I know of 2 couples who swing. One of the couples had a very innocent party that my friend had been invited to - or rather, it was innocent until the woman came downstairs dressed only in her underwear, obviously hoping for the party to become an orgy or something. Friend said that there was just stunned silence, no-one knew where to look or what to say, and people began looking at their watches and pretending they had to go home to let the babysitter away!

Anyway, I digress. Yess, I understand they do exist. Each to their own I guess....!

"There is no restriction on upper age or physique, but it has been many months since we saw any one who had lost pride in their appearance." I'm not so sure this is true looking at the bloke in the hot tub!
