Uneasy about change of intimacy during pregnancy

A bit personal but I was wondering if other people noticed the same or similar at the time.

I’m pregnant and my DH has started to react differently to me. Not in a bad way but differently. Definitely more pushy on sex and seems way more interested in the parts of my body that are visibly changing. This is probably tmi but I didn’t know how else to describe it.
On the one hand it’s “nice” because I feel quite uneasy about my body atm and it’s comforting to know that he doesn’t see it this way. But I kind of feel a bit objectified at the same time. I’ve tried to tell him but I think he really couldn’t understand me and I wondered if maybe I am creating a problem where there is none.

I’ll absolutely accept that I am the one with the problem here if that’s what people think because I honestly don’t know if I am. I get emotional at times so I don’t think I’m the most reasonable person sometimes.

It’s not uncommon for abuse to start in pregnancy. Personally I would leave at this point before it gets any worse.

It’s revolting that he’s hurting you sexually when you are at your most vulnerable.

He also sounds like a real creep a pregnant fetish is incredibly disgusting and is borderline pedo behaviour. op don’t raise a child with this man i know what it’s like don’t risk it please.

When is your next midwife appointment? Don't bring DH to it and tell them at the appointment that you're feeling uncomfortable with this new version of intimacy. If your DH insists on attending, ask if Angela midwife is around (Angela is codeword for "I need help")

Also second others recommendations to find time with a health professional when you’ve got your next appointment. I actually found the whooping cough jab a good moment to chat with one of the nurses (about other MH stuff) because DH wasn’t there because it wasn’t a “big” appointment. Good luck and so sorry you’re feeling like this &this is happening to you. It definitely isn’t how it should be for you xxx

Your are married. Why are you struggling to say how you feel to him?
