What should I do?

I’ve been seeing someone for almost a year. It’s been a bit rocky recently. I went onto the app we met on and he’s not on there anymore. Should I ask him about this?

What gives you the feeling he’s not happy with you? Challenge your thoughts. Do you have genuine reason to believe he’s not happy or are you simply overthinking.

Have you been active on the app this whole time or did you go just go to check if he is on it?
If things are rocky, have you both had a calm, honest conversation about it? Seems your first instinct was to check the app, in case he is cheating. That doesn't bode well for the present or future of the relationship.

I have not been active on if. I just checked to see if he was on it.

I don’t think he’s cheating.

I don’t think he’s cheating.

Then why did you check the app? You don't mention in what things are rocky, but why not speak to your partner first and air your concerns, rather than overthinking and worrying unnecessarily?

Oh dear, I predict this won't last long, sadly.
You are checking up on him though he's given no indication he's cheating.
Doomed.

Never thought I would see a man in a relationship getting grief for NOT being on a dating app!!!

This, thanks for putting that as I was starting to think I was losing it!
How would the conversation go? “ you absolutely non-cheating bastard!!! I was back on the dating app and you’ve REMOVED YOURSELF?!! How could you!!??”

I'm still confused tbh!
