Stray Pubes

I cannot believe I'm asking for opinions on this....

Over the last few months I've found the odd lone pube in the bathroom sink. They're not mine. I suspect DP because he's the only one in the house with the ability to shed such bodily hairs!

It's only ever one, and it's happened about 5 times over the course of around 8 weeks.

Never in the history of over a decade have I found his pubes in the bathroom sink!

Why now?

Our sex life is nonexistent but I'm not after advice about this.

As a PP said my partners pubes look similar to his chest and beard hair so a stray hair could be from anywhere (even his armpits if he’s having a quick flannel wash of pits before work). I also like an early start at work as (especially if it’s a busy office) that’s when I can clear lots of work before the chatterers come in and start distracting me.

On the flip side though I knew a guy who did leave for work at 6am to meet his co worker OW prior to work…. Sorry, I know that’s not much comfort and I wish I could say otherwise.

If it was me I’d just ask him face to face when he’s had a couple of wines and then I’d know from his expression if he was lying. Question is - can you tell when he’s fibbing about something?

I shower regularly. At least every other morning or every day if I'm going to be active at work as that normally means being in unusually close proximity to other people so its only polite.

What i have noticed over the last few years is feeling a bit sweaty only around the crotch area when I get warm so I take the opportunity to have a quick wash at the sink. Not for hygiene as I know I am clean but more to feel comfortable.

It could be that your partner feels the same.

I recently found out my wife does the same too.

Nothing to do with the pubes but my exh was leaving extra early for work to ‘make some time up’ or to ‘catch up on some work whilst it was quiet’ when in fact he was having an affair with someone from work and he’d drive to hers, do the business then drive her into work for 9am! Nice, esp as I worked there too

Is he flossing his teeth with a pube before work? Are you on a budget? Can you afford dental floss?

I think you need to bite the bullet and tell him what you’re finding. He is definitely getting his dick out over the sink but to what ends, we can only guess. I would also start taking photos so you have evidence if he starts playing dumb when you confront him.

I did a spot of gymnastics in my youth, but I'm afraid my sink straddling days are long gone😯.

I thought of this scenario when OP mentioned husband leaving for work earlier than needed.

DH rinses his penis in the sink every time he has a wee (he wipes with loo paper first). I think it's overkill, but it doesn't bother me - after all we wash our hands in there after using the loo.

The obvious way to find out is to go to his work one day very soon after him. If he's not there then you have your answer.

It’s a sink, you aren’t going to lick it so does it matter if there’s some sperm in it it’ll be washed away.
I assume you’ve had sex before so you’ll have had sperm in worse places than a sink

I think it’s uncivilised and unhygienic. That’s like saying they can use the sink as a urinal, after all it’s getting washed away.

I have had sex, but sperm does gross me out, so that might have something to do with it. Ignoring that my little one brushes her teeth at the sink, it’s not a place for penises.

I actually spoke to DH about this thread, he confirmed never even considering putting his parts in the sink. Because he is not feral.

Yeah that does sound a little uptight, your dd uses the bath I presume, and a penis has been in that.
Its not feral to wash sperm off hands in the sink or wash a penis in the sink, a penis shouldn’t be so stinking dirty that it would contaminate the whole sink.
But that’s fine if you don’t like to do it because you’re grossed out by sperm and penises, however not everyone has the same feelings and there’s nothing actually wrong with it.
