DH temper

I can't live with my partner's temper. He is so lovely in so many ways but his temper is so extreme and it's constant. We have a joint mortgage and a kid so things are complicated. I just don't know what to do anymore. I've tried and tried to emphasise my boundaries and how things are affecting me. He just won't listen and won't change.

I've pointed this exact thing out to him as it's always "it's just a reaction, I can't control it etc".

nonensense. He CAN control himself... he doesn't act like this in front of certain people...that tells you he CAN control himself. He just can't be arsed with you. He is lying.

It’s common place for abusive behaviour to emerge and escalate during a women’s pregnancy or the first 18 months post partum. When you are most vulnerable. It is also high risk for you if he knows you are thinking to leave.

Perhaps do the online freedom programme. If you can, please confide in someone so someone else will know you are unsafe.

Anger and all of the behaviour you describe is frightening and you don’t deserve this at all.
