So I've finally come to the realisation that I absolutely hate my partner.
He's just a really horrible person, classic narcissist. I'm currently a stay at home mum, actively looking for work as my youngest has just turned 1 and I guess the straw that broke the camels back was when he asked me to pay half towards the food shopping today knowing full well I dont have it. I didnt even ask him to pick up anything just a jar of coffee, so I told him ill pay him a fiver for that.

Baffling.

@PumpkinSeasonOctobersorry that wasn't very clear, yes we're living under the same roof but couldn't be living further apart if you know what I mean.

@RandomMessyes ill speak to WA first and see what they suggest. I'm also going to go to my local council offices and see what advice I can get regarding housing.

There is a delay from claiming to receiving UC so ring up and start a claim ASAP.

I feel your pain, OP. I remember many years ago as a young woman with 4 very small children, my abusive ex was vile to me all the time. I remember loathing him, really hating him. I used to fantasise that the police were going to knock on my door to tell me that he had died in a car crash.

It took me years, but I trained (with him sneering and being nasty about it) qualified as an accountant, got a job and got rid of the waste of space. I felt intense joy, I was walking on air the day he finally left. Life was not always easy after that, but it was a million times better without him in my life. Never give up x

There are also often local DV organisations often linked to your local police station which can support you as well.

Use incognito mode and a burner email in case he is checking your activity.

You can do it and it will be worth it to be free. Good luck!
