I have been advised to start my own thread for help and advice so here goes.

I’ve been with my partner for over 25 years and for 24 of them I have been a victim of domestic abuse from him. Verbally and mentally. He’s finally broken me after all these years and I can’t sink any lower. I just want to die.
No children, just me so no fear of any fallout if I kill myself. I just can’t take anymore

I’m ok as far as I can be. I’ve applied to the local council and I have an appointment tomorrow with the housing team to find me safe accommodation as a matter of urgency. Things are no better. I’m being gaslighted constantly. He’s saying one thing, then another and when called out on it is denying saying it at all!
I’m moving forward with plans - I am looking into renting a storage unit to move stuff to gradually until one day he comes home and I’m gone.

Many thanks for all your ongoing support - I knew MN would guide me one day x

This is such progress OP! Keep on keeping on, one foot in front of the other. You know it’s gaslighting and you know you need out. You’re doing really well, keep your head and get out for fresh air and move yourself as much as you can. Are there any hobbies you’ve let slip that you could reignite?
