Im 40m and have been married for 2 years, but for the past 6 months ive been made to feel worthless, shouting and screaming at me constantly, never any compliments, just negativity directed my way consistently! Now, we have a 4 year old son and i do everything for him whereas she doesnt, i feel like a single parent! Have any of you been in a situation like this before?

Oh gosh. Poor you. Women are dreadful creatures, aren’t they?

Some of them are, yes.

Just like men.

Women can be abusive too

I really wouldn’t waste your time. I think this poster (if I’ve got the right one!) doesn’t believe that women can be just as abusive as men.

Sounds weird. If all accurate it sounds like a mental health issue.

Too be honest this sounds like a situation where you need to separate. If you can’t work out what it is you can’t protect your child from the environment and need to just defuse it be separating and sharing custody.

Well, this one doesn’t exactly sound like Miss Sunshine, let’s face it…

Gambling?? Especially if she is not coming up to bed. Is she addicted to betting sites? Any kind of addiction can change someones behaviour. Do you have joint accounts? Savings? Check your money.

If not something like this then I have to say I also be thinking she is chatting to another man.

Whatever, her behaviour is shite and if roles were reversed on here you would be encouraged to get your ducks in a row and leave. But don't put up with this any longer. You don't have to. Is there anyone that could have your DS while you talk? You need to confront her and have it out.

Edited

I think you must be thinking of someone else. Hmm

I definitely believe women can be as abusive as men.

Yeah i agree! Like if i had a change in behaviour id be absolutely slated! But in this case its the woman with the change in behaviour and only a small amount of people including yourself have mentioned the “Cheating” subject.

I was thinking cheating, or maybe drugs/alcohol abuse? The irritability, the messed up sleep patterns, ... made me think of my alcoholic parent when I was a child.

… and if you’d bothered to read the whole of this (zombie) thread, you’d see that I have already said that!

Oh, so this is a "gotcha" thread. Tiresome.
