Bumble matches I didn't swipe?

Is anyone else getting matches on Bumble with people they didn't swipe right on? I've had 2 now I matched that I didn't remember swiping on but wasn't sure, now I've had one today I know 100% I would not have swiped right on. How is this happening?

I'm not having any luck on Bumble at all but am persevering because I don't want to use Hinge (everyone at work is on there) or Tinder (several relatives are on there). Is this a glitch or is Bumble trying to force matches because people are leaving it, or what?

And a ridiculous number of women say the same - or at least have Roast Dinner listed as their 'one meal they would choose to eat for the rest of their life'.
Not seen anyone listing 'Margherita Pizza followed by Vanilla Ice Cream' yet though 😆

Are these standard questions that you're prompted to give answers to or do people choose to put this stuff in free text? Never done OLD so excuse my ignorance. It sounds like an excruciating version of the Mr & Mrs gameshow from years ago.

Mine's a dirty fry-up if anyone's interested. I suppose most mumsnetters would say 'massive salad'.

Yup, ‘Discover’ is just as much Rowntrees Randoms as the rest.
And wouldn’t it be nice to have a filter so that anyone interested in roast dinners, intimacy without commitment, and neurodiversity (ie no imagination, just want a fuck, serious MH issues) is just hidden forever?

OK, I can see now why you're still single.

You’ve never done OLD? You should definitely try it - if you’re suffering with too much self esteem or faith in human nature, you’ll find yourself cured in no time!

Oh god it is such a soul crushing thing to go through isn’t it?

I guess everyone's experience is likely to be different, I first ventured in at quite an old age and at a time I was quite - fragile, I guess. Some people come through happy and unscarred, but I think not without some combination of luck, lowering standards or a thick skin.

I didn’t feel like that, I just found it tedious and dull. I only had a handful of dates and all but 1 I was just a bit bored.

The one guy I clicked with and we had a few dates unfortunately had more baggage than Stansted.

I gave up as it just wasn’t for me.

@Bittenonce @TwistedWonder I think I’m a bit thin skinned with OLD. But when I’ve done it in the past it’s been relatively quiet periods in my life with not much else going on, then I attach too much importance to it all. I’m full of schoolboy errors!

@ThisIsMyYearToFindMyself er- ditto, ditto, ditto. Kind of nice knowing I’m not the only one
