Hey, ladies. Have you ever had a situation where you talked to a man via video and you liked him, but when you met him you didn’t like him? Or maybe he didn’t like you.

This just gets worse. He’s telling you half the story - he’s he truth is he is probably sleeping with his ex on and off.

This is also further evidence of triangulation the fact he even brought her up. Start mentioning your exes or other “options” and see how insulted and upset he gets.

Good luck with getting rid of this one! 😂

Just stop talking to him! You don't trust him and I don't blame you. You don't have to have any contact with him again.

i don’t know what to do, just block him with no explanation or should I tell him that I’m tired of empty talking and wanna out of our meaningless communication?

Yes, it’s insane I tolerated such disgusting behavior. I guess because I was into him. But just now I deleted all his pics and ready to block him.

He's an African scammer. I've had so many of them claiming to be from the US but when you speak to them they clearly have an African accent. Some people aren't good at detecting it. Are you 💯 sure he has an American accent? Also, which state? I caught one out once as I'm familiar with the time zone as my friend and sister live there. He told me the wrong time.

Edited

I’d send him a brief message saying you are done, you’re over it and asking him to respect your wishes and not contact you again. Make it clear you’re serious this time and you will block him from any new numbers and then block him.

And if he keeps messaging you from other numbers keep blocking him. Don’t respond. Delete the messages immediately without reading them, block - and repeat.

It took me 2 months to get rid of one online guy by just continually blocking him from his various number but I got there in the end. I’ve now not heard from him in over a year 🥳

You want to see if you can watch the BBC One programme - For Love or Money.

It is all about romance scammers.

I think he's chatting just for the company, it's not going anywhere, just block and move on, it's obviously making you unhappy.

Thecrawdadssing · 08/01/2025 00:53

Just curious - is there a big age gap between you?

Well done Op!

Remember to stand firm if he contacts you with his smooth words and empty promises.

Block block block!

Block block block!

I’ve already made this mistake, have forgiven him several times, thereby decreasing my value in his eyes. But now I’m smarter (I hope so!).
