I am wanting to date differently and go for men who are genuinely good people. I'm definitely trying to change my ways and no longer choosing men who are bad for me.

I guess I have this thing in my head where I believe the men who will be good I won't be attracted to.

I just wondered to those of you in relationships now were you Instantly attracted to your partner from the beginning ? Can this grow as your feelings grow ?

I also don't want to feel like I'm settling at the same time as surely you have to feel attracted to to the person you're with ?

What do you think ? X

You will get both, don't settle!

My bf had absolutely awful pictures on bumble but could tell he was cute. He was unbelievably nice and then three days into chatting he sent me a selfie and was absolutely gorgeous 😂 just chose stupid pictures! Gent and he's stunning and 6'4! I got both!

Didn't fancy him at all. We were working together and he was so quiet I didn't think much of him. But as time went on, I started to really like him as a person. Then I realised I fancied him. Together for 20 years now, married for 16 and I love him more deeply every year, and fancy him rotten too. No, we're not always ripping each others clothes off, because life happens, but sometimes we are in that zone.

He claims it was love at first sight for him to me.

I thought he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen as soon as I met him. I had started working in a nightclub where he worked, we were both late teens. He then changed a beer barrel and he had the most amazing forearms and I fell in lust. We were friends for a while until my boyfriend was ten minutes late one evening and we decided to go out. Moved in together a few days later and engaged after a few weeks. Been together over 35 years now and he's still the most beautiful man I've ever seen, he still takes my breath away.
