Dating apps for bi curious

Hi all,

I've decided to do a bit of online dating.
I am bi curious.
Any advice on where to start?

I've heard the dating app HER is very good, however I downloaded it & I saw a lady from work straight away and I couldnt work out how to hide my profile from her or block?

Quite possibly not what you're looking for as it's not a dating app but I know someone who likes Skirt Club, which does...let's say 'meetups' for bicurious women. I think you can also see profiles and message people but I would have to ask!

Wickedslam Dating has a substantial homo and bi community as well as straight. It's an awesome supportive community with a nice vibe.

Also married but have always had an attraction to women.

Hi I've come back to this thread , as I have noticed some interest recently.
I am still yet to explore my bisexual side. I haven't had the guts to join any apps etc yet
Has anyone else?

OP, l discovered my bi side back in my 30s and now in my 40s. It took me quite by surprise, although when l look back now the signs were there when l was in my late teens. I just didn’t recognise my own emotions.

If l may deviate from your question just slightly? Personally, l think it’s a shame that we have become so app dependent and seem to have forgotten the art of meeting people in real life, when at least you can see what someone really looks like.

lf you live in a largish town or city, why not look up some lesbian friendly places near by and pop in? They are usually very welcoming. One word of warning though, be careful not to be seen as looking for someone you wish to merely experiment with or something on a to do list. From your post, l’m sure you are not, but just watch any signals given. There are lots of positive ones you can give though.

Good luck. x 🌈

I have also been feeling like this and decided 2025 would be the year to try new things. Any advice appreciated xx

EmpressaurusKitty · 09/04/2025 09:05

As a lesbian who played with bicurious women back in my 20s, I’d say first - be honest. Yes, it might mean some women are less interested but it’s only fair to be clear with them if you’re just exploring so they know what they’re getting into.

Second - dating apps like HER are not women only. They’re for anyone who says they have a feminine / non-binary gender identity. Most of the lesbian groups I know have now gone underground in order to stay single sex.
