Sex with men around 50

So, this is a cheeky thread. But wanted some advice to make sure I do not get this wrong.

I date a man I met through OLD. Find him cute, I am attracted to him, he is sweet -
so far. I am 45, he is 49. After third date invited him home, had fabulous time and we had sex. It was awsome, we seem to be a good match there as well. He stayed over the night, in the morning I came onto him had sex again. He is very easy to get aroused.
The other day went to his place, had a nice night. Had sex, I stayed over. In the morning I wanted to have sex again but didn’t initiate as I was a bit hesitant. He didn’t either. Bottom line is that I have heard that men at this age have a refractory period of 12-24 hours and as we had sex at 21:30 and it was 05:00 in the morning didn’t want to bring him into difficult position in case he couldn’t function yet.

SO! Ladies with partners at 47-50. How many times can a man this age have sex? Should I initiate the second time? Will I bring him into difficult position in case he needs more time to “recover”? I find him really sexy and fancy him a lot 😄. Want him all the time.

And actually It would also be nice to have feedback from men at this age? What should I do If I want him again after a few hours? Should I initiate amd see what happens? Let him do it?

Hello everyone! An update from me.
Things in the sex field are going great. Have attempted to approach for a second round a couple of times and he is very much up for it and a very good performer 😄. Who said men lose their libido and erection after 45?
Happy days!

Maybe this is why everything you read you should take a BS - the media have to fill pages somehow!

I still can’t get over that you didn’t try it on a second time as you’d calculated the hours since 🤣

I thought I’d add my 2 cents. First I’m 6’4”, 8x6 in size, I have crazy stamina and drive. I can go for days. I train 5-6 times a week and I eat healthy. I’ll be 39 in September.

The older I get the better at sex I get and the more I want it. With that said, there will be some guys that aren’t so sexually aggressive. Among those, most will be this ways because of eating habits and. lack of training. I have trained 10-15 guys in the last 10 years(when I was in college). Each have increase size, sexual stamina, and drive after introducing the training protocols.

In short, guys between the ages of 40-90 can be just as virile as young men in their 20’s, but they need to be dedicated to their health and fitness. Even then, about 30% of these men on average will not be so sexually driven.

My dh is 56 and we do it twice a day and more over the weekend. I think it depends on the man.

Don't the French say 'If a man of 50 asks a woman to sleep with him, and she says 'yes', he's pleased, and if she says 'no', he's relieved'?

Even the fittest men need more recovery time for erections than they did in their 20s. Fortunately, sex isn't just about penises or size of penises.

I don’t! 😜

I’m 40 and whilst my refractory period in my 20’s was almost certainly shorter than one in their 50’s , I now don’t have one, literally. Even if I live to be 90, and still have sex, my refractory period will still be less than the fittest 20 something….

and agree, penis size has literally nothing to do with this topic!
