Why do many of most men like watching sport for hours?

I know many women like watching different kinds of sports too.

I watch it occasionally but I am definitely not addicted as I have my other more important things to do.

I make sure I keep fit and exercise regularly instead of just passively watching it like my DH.

Before we met 18 years ago (married for 17 years) and for 1 year after that, my DH went to the gym 1-2 times a week while working full time. He was 37 then, and I was 25.

Has anyone else had this happen DH stopped going to the gym (if he went previously) after you had a child/children.

We go for walks, and he does gardening, cleans & polishes his (some sports) car(s). That's his exercise:).

Fair enough:)

Christ, you sound like some Poundshop life coach.

With the exception of studying, I'm not sure any of those count as being more "important".
Many of us manage to fit in the food shop and bits of housework across the week as well as doing things we find relaxing - which are just as important for most people's welbeing.

Studying to improve your career and job prospects and pay is a good , worthy thing, but not everybody needs to do that. I am at a stage of life where I don't need to, and your dh is too, so he can relax more now, at his stage of life.

Great video on Messi, the greatest sportsperson who has ever lived, and arguably the most entertaining individual who has ever lived.

Given he played in front of over 80,000 every other weekend for Barcelona for 16 years (dwarfing what the most watched music artist, the Rolling Stones, have performed in front of over their entire career), and given he has done this in front of million of television viewers around the globe, including the most watched event on the planet, the World Cup, nobody has ever entertained more people than Messi.

I suppose that would depend on your metric. There are Michael Jackson songs with over a billion plays on Spotify, and he’s been dead well over a decade at this point. 80 million people a month listen to Taylor Swift. The final season of GoT averaged 46 million viewers per episode.

I could go on, but I think you get my point.

Given that Shakespeare has been entertaining people for hundreds of years, I'd argue he beats Messi.

Also, there will be a lot of repeat attendances in the people attending matches each month, so you can't just add up the total for each match without double counting.
