Talking to a much younger man on an app. Should I give him a chance or being daft to consider it?

I got divorced 4 years ago and have remained single since I exited that relationship. I have only recently decided to give online dating apps a try. I have been talking to a younger man on an app (Bumble) for the last couple of days. He is 30. He has been getting quite flirty with me. I was surprised that he would be interested in me at all as I am 51 and nothing special in terms of my looks. I replied back to him because I liked the look of him. I feel quite daft for saying it, but I think he's really fit. I am flattered that he is interested in me at all.

I am not really looking for a long-term relationship, but I would honestly quite like a fling or an FWB. I am getting the sense from his profile and messages that he is looking for the same thing. Do you think he is too young for me, even if just for a fling or even a one-off?

Ageist yeah but a 30 year old will probably be better in bed than a 50 year old - more stamina etc

Relationship wise I'd say no. I'm only 40 and wouldn't date a 30 year old man but sex ? Hell yes

Some people have also bought into the toxic idea that sex is somehow ‘bad’. For women anyway.

I had hoped that my generation would be the last to learn this absolute shit but I don’t think it is.

I have some news to share with you all. I have been on 2 dates with the younger man. On the first date, we kissed passionately and it could easily have progressed to sex if I had wanted it to, but I thought jumping into bed on the first date was too soon. I was suitably impressed that I was keen to see him again, and he certainly seemed to feel the same. After the second date, I invited him back to my place and things went on from there. He was scorching hot in bed. He kept telling me how sexy I was and I was really turned on by what he was telling me. He enthusiastically backed up his words with his actions. The sex was wonderful. I'm getting a bit hot and flustered just talking about it.

Not sure where it will lead or how long it will last, but I'm hoping it will develop into a fling. He's indicated he is up for that himself.
