My partner has just done a drugs test after I suspected him of using cocaine between midday-3pm Thursday. How would you read the cocaine result?

Negative.

But if you're with a person who's into drugs, please dump @lalallola . Unless you're happy with that.

And he could've used someone else's wee...

Falalalalaaah · 10/12/2022 22:11

I'd say that's negative as there's a faint line in the T column

monsteramunch · 10/12/2022 22:15

Opentooffers · 10/12/2022 22:02

RTF instructions applies - which clearly the person who 'does it for a living', didn't do. It's clearly positive for coke - 1 line is positive in this case, the other drugs have a faint line so a bit suss maybe. And yea, I do them st work occasionally 🤔

Two lines are present in the cocaine result in which = a negative test.

You may not be able to see the second line but it is there.

I think if even him taking the test is necessary OP should end the relationship but this is a negative test.

A line, whether clear or faint = any line is a negative test and if you can't see the second one then it's a you thing not a reality thing.

Can you really not see one at all?

mrs55 · 12/12/2022 20:30

Looks like he’s been on it or else a strong line would appear… I had this problem and would drug test husband , cocaine shows up on these tests much longer than people think , think a week and it’ll still show just order some more single coke ones off Amazon and re test him.

smileandsing · 12/12/2022 20:48

Just end the relationship. I was with someone who did coke for far too long, it destroyed him and our relationship. Not only is he trying to prove his 'innocence' which is obviously a huge red flag, he thinks he can get away with lying to you too by doing the test two days later hoping it will be out of his system by then.
You'll never trust him, so do yourself a huge favour and leave him to it.

lalallola · 13/12/2022 07:16

I said I wasn't happy with the other result as I found it strange that the line for cocaine was virtually non existent compared to the others when that's what I thought he had done. He ordered these and did them yesterday and they are positive, more positive then the other one in fact. Can anyone explain? Nothing wrong with the tests as I did one to give him the benefit of the doubt and mine was negative.

He's using cocaine. There is no other explanation

LaLuz7 · 13/12/2022 07:36

Dump his junkie ass. Please.

BT11 · 13/12/2022 08:50

What a shame OP. Hope you're okay?

It's upsetting for you that they have lied.

mrs55 · 13/12/2022 10:10

They are positive he’s been using he’ll deny deny deny until the end of time but he has been using

OopsAnotherOne · 13/12/2022 11:15

While I thought the first test looked negative, those second tests are positive. He has been using cocaine. Expect him to lie, deny, deflect and make up any/all conceivable reasons why the test is wrong, you're not reading the test right, he must have been spiked, the tests must be faulty etc.

To be honest OP, this does not seem like a solid or trusting foundation for a relationship, perhaps it's best to cut your losses, leave the drug-using liar and go your separate ways.

It looks like a spoof test to me.
T is the test and c is the control always.
The key makes no sense.

SomePosters · 16/12/2022 11:34

It doesn’t matter

if you’re at the point of drug testing your partner then what exactly is there to save?

wether he did or not you don’t trust him and this relationship is toxic

if any of my partners had tried to drug test me I would have shown them the door.

One line is a positive.

Thoughtful2355 · 16/12/2022 11:49

Id see it as negative for all, top one whilst faint still looks negative

Thoughtful2355 · 16/12/2022 11:52

oh those second tests definitely look positive

knittingaddict · 16/12/2022 11:53

I agree, second tests definitely positive.

EvenMoreFuriousVexation · 16/12/2022 12:49

Can anyone explain?

Yes, the explanation is that he's using. Sorry OP, there's no other explanation.

As someone else said, addicts will just flat out deny deny deny until they're blue in the face. He's been using and as he's still at the denial stage, he'll continue to use.

Pleaseaddcaffine · 16/12/2022 12:54

I still have to drugs test the father of my son. Every single time it makes me LIVID.
Im mortified to be in this position and him being clean isn't a win, I shouldnt have been put in this position by him.
End it. It will mess with your head else.
Relaly sorry op.

Surroundedbyfools · 16/12/2022 13:05

I used to do these drug tests for occupational health team on a construction site. That’s a faint positive. We would call that a non negative result as it can’t be confirmed positive unless it’s done in a lab. For this kind of test cocaine use would have been in the last few days to show up. In my experience almost all “non negative” cocaine results come back from the lab confirmed positive. Occasionally cannabis and opiates come back negative from the lab but cocaine almost always is a positive !

Surroundedbyfools · 16/12/2022 13:07

Also just to add it’s not likely a spoof test. These drug kits always have the lines this way round.

Newwardrobe · 16/12/2022 13:11

Whatever the results, you will always be on edge, you can't test him forever .

Aprilx · 16/12/2022 13:15

The first test is negative as there is a faint line.

I don’t know about the second lot as I can’t see the instructions.

It’s faint but there is 100% a line there. Redo the test - it’s not positive it’s just faint.

HelsyQ · 16/12/2022 13:21

CockSpadget · 10/12/2022 18:53

@JaneJeffer one line is positive. There is one line on the cocaine test.

There’s not, there’s two, it’s just faint.
