Day 5 and it is killing me !

I can't stand the pain , it's just awful

I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 8lbs in a week

Meeting friends for Sunday lunch and then going to a meeting

A week today since D Day

OP you're doing brilliantly, I'm so proud of you. AA gets a mixed press on MN but, in my experience, it's a life saver. KOKO, you'll get there.

I've had a massive raging argument with the other woman and I've drank a mouthful of vodka in the peak of my rage

Express your feelings here, Ettie. Can you tell us what happened with her?

Please please pour away any alcohol in the house tonight OP and vent to us instead

So sorry you're going through this. I went through it in September and it's still torturing me. I think about it much less (we've split) but it hurts, a lot.

Hope you didn’t drink any more and you need to tip any left out.Have you got a sponsor,ring her.

I am in AA,sober almost 19years,always here for you if you want a hand hold.I take calls from AAmembers 24/7.

I think I've cracked up the last couple of days

I stopped after one dramatic mouthful from bottle

But I've blown it now , no longer sober

I don’t know about AA other than through friends

Bit in terms of falling off the wagon one mouthful isn’t the same as a three bottles , 4 pills 💊, ten lines and waking up in a ditch naked

I don’t want to minimise the fact you did it
But your self preservation levels are pretty high if you managed to stop

And I get it , it happened and you must feel awful
It’s a type of self harm
