Basically my partner and I are extremely happy , we been together for 7 years . for the last 2 years our sex life has gone , maybe 1 time a month . My partners has stressful office job and I understand he’s not into sex while stressing about work . He does not cheat 10000%
He’s amazing guy .
But I don’t have stressful job and I always want sex . He doesn’t but I do .
I am okay with that , I have accepted it and I’m ok about it .
My questions is , is is rude for me to buy sex toy secretly without him knowing ?
I wouldn’t want to tell
Him as I feel embarrassed ? Or should I tell him and maybe he will start being more sexual ? I just feel guilty him not knowing .
Am I wrong ?
I would never break up with him as our relationship is perfect apart from sex . And I’m okay with how we are , I have accepted it . Thanks for answering :)

This situation is very sad.

Yes but a sex toy and enjoy using it, but it's no substitute for 'real' loving sex.

The end of a sex life is the kiss of death in a relationship is far as I'm concerned.

Buy a sex toy not but a sex toy

I’m not sure why you’re being so jokey about this. He’s the one who’s changed the terms of your relationship so why would he be jealous of you having a wank as you’re getting far less sex than you’d like? Do you see how wrong that is?

Loads of people are in long term relationships with stressful jobs. Do you think they’re all down to a once a month shag? They’re not.

Not enough sex isn’t the only issue you’ve got. You’ve obviously got communication issues as well or you’d be able to have a healthy conversation about something so important.

I get you might be embarrassed about it all but it’s honestly not funny.

The satisfyer pro 2 is a wonderful invention and the greatest so far as toys go. I've done extensive research! Grin
You'll find it on Amazon about £27

Of course its fine. I recommend a wand. One that has a plug, not a rechargeable one

@AnneLovesGilbert
Hey , thanks for your advice , but I have had serious conversations with him , and poor guy even went to doctors to see if his testosterone levels are out of whack and they wasn’t , doctor also said could be stress from work , I know he really didn’t want to go to doctors about this embarrassing issue but he still did for me , he said no problem .
And also his sex drive changed because he got a really stressful office job and he can’t switch off after work . But i am not saying he won’t let me have a Sex toy , he probably wouldn’t mind at all , it’s just my own thoughts about it :)

I’d tell him about it. Maybe he can move away from stressful job in the long term?

Closetbeanmuncher · 19/12/2021 14:44

It's not a LTR thing OP
Sorry

Agreed

He'd be jealous you masturbate, even though he doesn't have a compatible sex drive with you?

Don't you think that's very strange?

Agree with this also.

OP your tone sounds as if you're trying to convince yourself it's fine when it really isnt.

You should absolutely buy a sex toy, and if you have to hide it I don't think your marriage is as wonderful as you say it is.

Closetbeanmuncher · 19/12/2021 14:47

Just tell him then OP, he may even want to get in on the action!

I really don't think you can sustain this long term though, it's unrealistic. Something will need to change.
