You need treatment for that shingles on your face - at the very least Acyclovar/ Zovirax cream over the counter will make it less severe.

Sorry to hear you are going through this, OP. I hope you recover quickly from the shingles. You've done the best thing about telling your dad and it's great he is helping and supporting you. It's a really good thing you've done a food shop and sorted out the gas and electricity for the near future. Do you have DC?

This too shall pass, for the moment just take one day at a time, and look after yourself and your DC if you have children. Things will get better.
