How important is it to be with your "type"

Let's say you really have a thing for blonde men/Asian men/tall men for example, and you ended up meeting someone without that quality who was amazing personality wise but not what you'd choose looks wise

Do you think it'd bother you down the line, honestly?

I'm not particularly interested or picky about how someone looks in terms of he must be muscly, a certain height etc I'm much more personality driven but I do have a particular type of man I am especially attracted to

Just wondering what others thoughts about this kind of thing are!

I’ve been with DP for 12 years now but I never had a typical “type” I have always gone for men who are able to make me laugh and have a decent sense of humour. That’s the only quality I’ve ever wanted in a man really. 12 years on we are both a bit fat now and have physically changed but we laugh every single day and that’s still the most important thing to us

My type was always someone who like the same cultural type things as me - particular similar musical interests.

Previous people I've been with have had common music interests but dh has different musical & political tastes. Somehow it's still where I'm meant to be so all good & don't be too rigid.

I don’t have a physical/ visual type at all. It’s just a feeling about a person and an attraction
