Would you tell his wife?

After discovering my bf was lying two face (insert any range of swear word) I told his wife about our relationship. I was shocked to see some people didn't think telling her was the best course of action.

I always believe that everyone should have all the facts and truth in a relationship but interested to find out why people wouldn't want to know if they were in her shoes or in mine.

I was horrified to find out after 3 years into my relationship that I was wearing an engagement ring 💍 given by a man who was still married. We had holidayed together a few times as well ... it was a total shock to me ...my happy future was a sham ...
I told his wife and she was so kind ... thanked me profusely for being brave enough to call her .
She asked me for evidence to confront him with .. she was genuinely concerned for me and was so sympathetic about how hurt I was ...
His job involved a lot of travel which I think made it easier for him to have “2 lives “

I’m off men for life now ... to this day I’m heartbroken and bewildered as to how someone could be so cruel ....

I’m so glad I told her ... the guilt was killing me .. thank god she was nice ...
I was so distraught... if she had shouted at me it would have tipped me over the edge ..

However hard I would recommend always telling the poor wife

When you think you have heard it all, these stories have absolutely shocked me.

As I said I've been through the OW but not knowing to be the OW.

My heart goes out to you all
