The situation is getting desperate! And earplugs do not work.

Tell him you're making a GP appointment and youre going with him
Describe the problem to the GP, complete with noises (e.g. stopping breathing altogether and then doing a massive snore)
GP will refer to sleep clinic
Go to sleep clinic with him as he will deliberately misunderstand their instructions
Go to the follow up with him as again he will deliberately misunderstansd
Force him to wear his CPAP mask at night because you dont want him to die

a month later he left and cited "you want to make me an invalid"
He left his CPAP mask behind and had a heart attack within 8 weeks Not gonna lie, I was pretty much "serves you right"

Tough being proved right
but YES
its a life and death issue

I know that mine is not life threatening
but many people's are/is (grammar blind spot)

I think it’s a myth that sleep apnea only affects overweight people-I’ve seen it diagnosed in slim people (I’m an RN) My husband snores horribly I begged and begged for years he finally saw a doctor and was diagnosed and uses his cpap religosly.
