What to make of this?

The man in question messages me all the time. Always. Often starts 4 -5 conversations a day. We spent last Saturday together and it was a lovely day, but since then there has been no move on his side to do anything again in person. Yet during this time I’ve been messaged 4-5 times a day, often double messages if I don’t respond.

I suggested something yesterday and he agreed but had to pull out for a legitimate reason, but didn’t suggest anything else. I stopped responding to his messages as it bothered me (I don’t want a something that is online) which meant I got many more messages for the rest of the day/evening but still no suggestion of another catch up.

I have no idea what to make of this. What do you think?

For context it was me that suggested last Saturday too.

Missed the weekend thing - that’s not normal. Unless he has kids like mine, he should be on the case for weekends. Sorry OP - that is a bit dodgy.

Don’t ask him what he wants or if he’s keen. If he’s stringing you along he’ll start breadcrumbing you even more and be like “yeah of course I am but blah blah”.

Send him a picture of you trying on a hot outfit and ask “can I ask your opinion? Hair up or down?” - if he responds, say thanks but nothing else. Then just ignore his shit messages until he asks for a date. Leave him on unread if you are whatsapping

Well if you want to see him again go for it, though he's deflating the fun of a new experience by being so wishy washy!

You're right Asleep.

Besides, when I started this thread it was the not seeing them IRL that I wanted advice on but it was the comments about the messages that has really made me think twice. I'll think on it I think.
