Hi everyone,
Long story, been with husband 9 years, we were happy and got each otheR. He cheated for a short period of time last year, seemed genuinely sorry and upset, so we decided to work through it. We were very happy but being heavily pregnant things went a little boring again, around my due date he decided he didn’t love me anymore and was not willing to work on it. I did the usual begging and pleading but nothing worked, a few days after moving out of the family home I discovered another women was involved . Fast forward 9 weeks he is still ‘dating’ the other women as far as I’m aware, I see him a couple of times a week to pick up the kids (dd’s 2+4 month old). I’m trying desperately to get over it but secretly hoping for reconciliation down the line, will this relationship last or is it typical rebound ?! Has anyone experienced similar and come out the other side happy with husband ? I feel like I’m going crazy

Why do you think his personality changed so dramatically? Most people DO NOT change so it's odd that he changed so much. DO you think he has mental issues?

No idea what the change in him is, little update for you ladies, I’m in a MUCH better place already and planning my future with my DC’s, it does get easier! Slowly and slowly he becomes less important everyday

Hi Mamabear, have been following your thread and it's great to hear you are in a better place.

The change in personality could be the OW's influence, that was certainly the case with my ExH. It's been a couple of years now since ExH of 26 years cheated, now divorced and happier than I have been in years. You will get stronger every day, take this time to recover, the future can be exciting as well as scary sometimes.

It can be very lonely being in a relationship where there is no trust. You have your whole life ahead of you, the last thing you want to do is waste it with someone who cheats. Good luck, you sound like a strong lady and good role model to your children X
