Just musing really... Have been successfully/unsuccessfully online dating for a while now.
Recently got chatting to a new guy. We haven't met yet! He doesn't want me on the website at all!

What do you make of that?

I take back what I said previously.

And I sincerely hope his attitude changes towards women before he actually finds one to date!

I mean this kindly, not as an attack, but from your willingness to give this person the benefit of the doubt I think you should think very seriously about putting dating on hold and getting some counselling for your former abusive relationship. This man had about a zillion red flags waving at you but you were still willing to give him a chance. And believe me, I was the same after my abusive relationship, I'd totally lost sight of what normal behaviour looked like and frankly I thought anyone not threatening to kill me was the best guy ever. It's amazing how far down the bar drops after something like that! Honestly if you need longer than a second to see a guy like this is bad news, then you are not in the right place right now for dating.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt

WHY?

Also why ask for advice, everyone gives advice (RUN) and then totally ignore it anyway? Waste of time!
