Nothing wrong with old lady wear. Embrace the elasticated waist and comfortable shoe.

Wear what you like. Honestly, if you like your clothes don't think of changing your style.

Oh, and I have no idea where all the good dresses are these days. Sorry. When I shopped for clothes, quite some moons ago, I used to like Oasis. Now I get most of my retail therapy in B&Q.

Have just realised I do this to DH. Slaughter him for his 'style' choices.

He had taken to dressing like my dad. Nice shirt and jumper. He was going out to buy clothes. I said maybe try and get something a bit younger.

Boy. Did he meet the brief.

Came back with jeans with many large pockets and 'feature' stitching and the biggest, whitest trainers I ever did see ( I couldn't see. So white I saw purple splodges and feared for my retinas). Also, garish patterned polo shirt he'd seen young lads wear buttoned right to the neck.

Try to go for younger look? He looked like a giant 6ft 5 toddler ffs!

Tbf though I can insult his clothes. They aren't his 'choice'. He just hasn't a notion and will pick any aul shite to put on. He appreciates my advice.

Although he'd probably prefer it if it wasn't given alongside so much laughing and pointing.
