Just that. I’m single after separating and wondering about how to meet new people. I look at couples and think I wonder how they met. So please tell all.

Met DP on social media when we both commented on something and had the same views. I was still with my abusive ex at the time (not through choice but fear) so we weren’t a couple initially or anything but good friends and I found I could tell him stuff I couldn’t tell other people. He helped me leave him and move to refuge until I got my own place. My children met him after 8 months or so and love him to bits. And he loves them both.

We met at school in 2007 and actually 'got together' in 2009 when we were 13/14. Nearly 10 years later & were expecting our first baby daughter in August 2018! We've had lots of ups and downs but I can't really complain! x

POF - on the day I went on to shut my account down after a run of dodgy dates. He messaged me, we got chatting and arranged a date, 3 years later we’re very happily married.
