Feeling so sorry for myself today! I have come home and opened wine and I'm supposed to be doing dry jan.
I don't have any emotional support and I struggle with that.
What do all you mums do if you have had a bad day and have nobody to talk to?

The Facebook group mentioned above is called ChuMNs (capital M and N as written.
There are other single parents there too.
Great place to find other Mumsnetters near you or let off steam.

Hi yes it's tough - my ex is around but was abusive so I'm limiting contact - I work part time so have got friendly with a couple of school mums which helps to have contact in the week.
Have you guys heard of Gingerbread - it's a group for single parents - you may have one in your area - maybe useful for the weekends if you feel alone.
I have also seen a couple of Meet Up groups for single/separated parents that meet with kids for days out.

How's everyone doing? Welshcakes hope you are feeling better.

HarleyQuimm thankyou for your message 😊 it feels nice to be asked.
I mentioned in my last post my dd had been poorly. Well, she got worse and has been off school for 2 weeks. After 3 visits to the GP, we finally got bloods taken and now on antibiotics for a chest infection. 2 days on them and already alot better. It's been such a worry. I had time off work and trying to make up my hours so absolutely exhausted as I have thrown in some extra nights. Dry Jan didn't last but I'm over that Haha!
I have just got on with it as we do, as mums. A holiday would be lovely right now 😊
