A date (or not) at looooong last with work colleague

I have been discreetly lusting over my work colleague (let's call him Batman) for almost 12 months. I assumed he wasn't interested because he hasn't responded to any of my little nudges, hints or suggestions (I invited him out for a drink last August).

So I decided to forget about Batman, took a break from dating but in recent weeks I decided to give OLD another go. A bit more successful this time because I've got a date planned for Saturday night with a man I normally wouldn't consider (he's 10 years younger). I thought what the hell, it's time to get dressed, feel beautiful and have some fun - (let's call him Robin).

A few days ago at work, I mentioned the saturday night date with Robin with my female colleague and she turned and said, "what about Batman?"

I laughed and said "what about Batman? He's not interested in me!".

she laughed and said "he clearly is and you are very definitely into him, everybody has noticed."

I'm clearly rubbish at flirting discreetly!! Blush Grin

So she encouraged me to try again, so I did my usual flirting and chatting and subtle probing and I found out that he spent xmas home alone and he's got no plans for NYE.

I sent Batman a text this morning suggesting that we could do something NYE and his reply was "oooohhh 🙂".

ffs!!

Should I continue to pursue Batman or leave well alone?

Should I still go out with Robin on Saturday night?
